ILVS Keeps Ford Motor Company's Assembly in the Fast Lane

The Ford-Dixie partnership goes back to 1961, when this auto and truck manufacturer hired us to store and deliver parts to its KTP assembly line. This partnership proved so successful that when Ford moved to In Line Vehicle Sequence (ILVS) engine delivery system - a service that had never been done locally - Dixie was the choice for a contract.

Working with Ford, we designed the logistics, plus the software necessary to drive the warehouse.
